Alexander Wang X H&M Launch

Hi guys, 

So I was lucky enough to attend the Launch for the AlexanderWangXH&M  collection and I was super excited. 

It was based in the H&M on Regent Street in London,Uk. 

It was crazy! As soon as I got in, I instantly started looking for my size in the items that I wanted. I noticed that as people were taking clothes off the racks, the H&M staff were refilling and they were extremely helpful in terms of helping people get what they wanted etc. 

Drinks and canapés were available and dished out by model looking men (which clearly pleased a lot of women). The womenswear and menswear were located in different areas of the store due to the amount of people. 

As I said : It was Crazy ! 

Even though I got champagne spilt of me due to a woman pushing (yup people were doing the most), I was very happy that I got the only piece that I really wanted !

I LOVE THESE LEGGINGS! Ever since I saw them on Rihanna, I knew I had to have them and they are the best pair of leggings I own. They are very warm, very comfortable and fit like a glove (did I mention that I love them). 

But anyway, as the evening went on, I made my way home.

Would I go to another Launch - OF COURSE! minus the champagne spilling.

New Layout. New Start.

Hi Guys!

How long has it been? About a year? 

Your all probably wondering where I've been and what I've been up to. For the most part I took some time off blogging for studying and also for myself. I couldn't commit my time and energy to blogging regularly and I always say "if your content isn't to your best potential - DO NOT POST". 

But I am back and I am not going anywhere! 

SO... You've probably noticed that the layout has changed and its about time too. I wanted to change the look of my blog as I've grown up a lot (now 21) and I feel that my blog needed to look more sophisticated and my age, y'know. 

So as always I will be posting about beauty and fashion, but I'll also throw in some lifestyle bits and bobs in terms of choices I've made, my eating habits and just things to do with Me. 

So are you ready? Because, I sure am.

S/S 2014 | The Transparent Trend

Sheer fabrics, Perspex clutches and transparent strappy heels. There is simply no escaping this spring/summer trend. From the runways of Victoria Beckham to Christopher Kane the transparent trend has been creeping in and making its mark on the fashion industry. There is something alluring about this trend as it adds an element of nakedness, being open and almost bare, without being classless. The transparent trend adds demure and sophistication. This also gives some edge to outfits and almost plays the part of a surprise within an ensemble.

Transparent clothing oozes sex appeal without being too vulgar and provocative. Showing off hints of flesh with a mesh or sheer chiffon top/dress can instantly give your outfit the spice it needs.

Transparent accessories can bring a fresh and bold element/essence to an outfit. It also adds a daring air as if you own a transparent rucksack or clutch your contents are exposed for everyone to see.

There are no limits with the transparent trend. It adds the edge but also a girlie and womanly feel. Transparency brings outfits into the future of fashion but somehow reminds me of the sex appeal of the 40s/50s, where a woman would cover up but show little pieces of her skin.

The transparent trend is here to stay and will take S/S 2014 by storm.
