Review | Root2Tip Harvest Pack

I was contacted by the lovely company Root2Tip back in October of last year to do a review on three of their products, specifically created for natural Afro Hair.

You all know I have never permed my hair and I love protecting my hair with weave and braid styles throughout the year. So while my hair was having a break from those styles I started trying out these products and I have to admit, I was highly impressed.

Grow-It-Long Scalp Serum

This was my favourite product out of all three. On the bottle its says "Elimate dandruff naturally" and that it sure does! I suffer from dry scalp, which means I am constantly trying to find ways of adding moisture to my hair without leaving it really greasy.

I found that over time, using this helped to keep dandruff at a standstill and also keep my scalp moisturised/healthy ( which it did). I use this every time after I wash my hair, or when I feel like my scalp is becoming dry.

I also used this when I had my weave in. Often us girls end up doing that famous weave pat when it gets itchy but with this serum I had none of that. A couple drops of this serum and everything felt much better.

Super-Growth Root Energiser

Now the instructions on the bottle says to use at night and then wash it out in the morning. But I used it in a different way. Before I would wash my hair, I would part it and then squirt some all over my hair and scalp. I then plated each part, used a plastic cap to cover my head and then used heat ( sort of like a hot oil treatment).

It worked wonders!

My hair again, has a problem with either retaining moisture or having too much. This product as a hot oil treatment made my hair look healthier in terms on shine and also made it thicker, while keeping it moist.

Loved this product.

Miracle Moisture Mix ( Daily Leave in Conditioner)

For daily use this is great to maintain moisture and a healthy shine for your hair.

This also helps to define curls, which is amazing for me when I do my messy buns sometimes.

This product also doesn't leave a seriously wet look, which I absolutely hate.

So all in all, I really enjoyed my time using the Root2Tip products, they've helped my hair to become healthier and stronger during these few months.

I cannot wait to try more of their products.

I saw a picture of these on twitter and literally tracked them down till I gave up. I tried my luck in the Puma store and clearly I was meant to have these.

They are comfy, they are light weight and just the perfect pink trainer I've every come across!

They are £45 currently as they are on sale, so make sure you find them and grab them quick, if you want them!

Until my next post guys,
