First Impression | Samsung NX3000

I got a new camera and if you don't know, now you know (word to biggie). I got the Samsung NX3000 for my birthday and was so happy, as it was the camera I had been eyeing up for a while.

Being that I wanted a camera that was rather small, stylish and took good quality (HD) pictures and videos, this was perfect for me. It has everything I need.

There are different options for picture taking such as, "beauty shot", which gives a soft filter/airbrushed effect, "light trace" which elongates light in the picture, panorama, macro etc. Which all have different options to help to make your picture and videos perfect. You can have the auto focus on or focus manually - I usually use manual focus for close up shots and auto focus for videos.

One function that I really loved and was intrigued by was the fact that I could connect my phone to my camera by using a personal wifi network produced by my camera. By using this I can take good quality pictures then share them wherever I am or wherever I go. I love it.

I am still working out all the functions of my Samsung NX3000, BUT so far I am loving it.

I didn't purchase this myself, but the camera is around £250 and you get a lens, usb and plug with a flash. The memory card does not come with it (like any camera you buy). But I believe there are bundle deals at Currys.

Deep Khaki Nails

I love doing my nails. It's one of those things that helps me feel good and put together.

One of my most favourite and complimented colours I own is by O.P.I called "Here Today...Aragon Tomorrow". It's a rich deep Khaki green (so deep it almost looks black), which I adore and was so pleased to find.

As we all know O.P.I is a high quality nail brand and with this colour, they didn't disappoint. I've had this polish for over 2 years and it is nowhere near finished. All you need is two very good coats and it comes out beautifully.

It chips after about a week or so, which I think is good wear for a nail polish, considering I'm always typing.

Even though it's a dark colour and we are in the middle of Summer, I think the shade works well with the current trends and to be honest its quite timeless and classic.

O.P.I Here Today...Aragon Tomorrow - £11.50 - £7.99

Fitness Journey | Motivation?

For a few weeks now, my motivation to work out completely disappeared. I didn’t want to move at all. For the life of me I couldn’t work out why either and this really put me down in the dumps, which caused further lack of motivation. Literally never wanted to put on a sports bra again.

However, on Sunday just gone I found myself scrolling through my subscriptions on YouTube and then came across one of my fav YouTubers,
JustSteph. She made a video on motivation and confidence within the world of fitness and I instantly had a motivation boost (will leave her link below). I couldn’t wait to stick on my gym gear and get into a yoga position or punch the air with shaun T. But her video made me realise why I started and why I should continue.

Why I started?

I began working on myself physically when I was 19. I never liked the way my body looked at all. My thoughts on myself were literally the lowest of the low. I brushed on it briefly in a past post, but thoughts of making myself physically sick so I could be smaller were forever running about in my head. I actually made myself believe that doing this would be the best way to achieving the body I wanted. When I look back on those moments, I always say I never ever want to go to that place again as it wasn’t healthy thinking at all. I felt horrible and the fact that I’d put my health in the danger zone to look a certain way wasn’t healthy either. I never want to be in that place again.

Why should I continue?

I have gotten far. I’ve lost a substantial amount of weight and I never give up on things I’ve started. It’s far from my nature. Kinda like starting an essay and stopping half way – instant fail and I always want to succeed in everything I do. Simple as that really.

Also I’m doing it for me. I believe that’s one of the most important things to always remember when changing yourself physically. Always do it for self acceptance and not for the acceptance of others.

Today was my day off. So I got my arse out of bed and cheered myself up even more with some new gym clothes. I then bought some bits and bobs to continue my healthy eating and to also try out living on fish for a while.

I’ve always wanted to start eating less meat (even though I RARELY eat red meat – only when I go to my dad’s or I go to eat at GBK). But I’ve always wanted to start eating more fish and eventually turn completely vegetarian again. So I’m starting today.

Right now my motivation to continue working out and keeping fit is high and this time I’m not letting it slip.

Headscarves are hot !

Often men find the whole women having to wear a headscarf "annoying" or "unattractive". So in this video I offer a solution, which is a little get ready with me, which makes the face look amazingly glowy and adds something to the whole headscarf look.

I hope you all enjoy and don't forget to subscribe for more,

New Chapter | 22 !

It was my birthday last Sunday and I can finally say I have reached the age of 22.

It's kind of weird to know I've been on this rock that we call Earth for 22 years, two years over two decades. Ew.

But for the 22nd year of my life all I wish and hope for is more growth, progress, success and happiness. Whoever wants to join this ride is more than welcome and whoever wants to hinder that will have to hop off mate.

I've learnt a few things whilst being 21 and I'm more than ready to learn even more at 22.

My YouTube and Blog seem to be getting more recognition and without the help of you guys, I would not be in such an interesting and exciting position. I will always thank you dearly.

So right now, I'm extremely excited and can't wait to really dig 22.
