Matte Lips 101

There has been a growing interest over plump matte lips which I am definitely the expert in. I am a sucker for a nice matte lip colour and seeing as my lips are already pillowey (thats not a real word), the matte colours only intensify them. 

Products used (right to left): Carmex lip balm, tissue, MAC Mehr lipstick, MAC Honeylove lipstick,MAC Cork lip pencil

1.My Morning

I've decided to eat a lot healthier this year just because it helps the body so much more. In the mornings I rarely ate breakfast which isn't the best choice in the morning. This morning was a slow start to the day (8.30am). I decided to make something simple and filling (well for me anyway).

I love to re-read old Vogue magazines as some of them have my fave articles or photos in them. I also use them for trend references when writing new articles and posts.

Today I decided to eat just egg whites (which I slightly hate separating, its so messy) with two small croissants and a banana. To wash this all down I drank the only coffee that I absolutely love which is called Blue Mountain from Jamaica. Its quite expensive (£17.50 for 100g) but it is the smoothest yet richest coffee ever. I love it. 

Lastly, I always forget to take my vitamin D tablets which is bad considering I've finally come off prescribed ones. At one stage my vitamin D count was very low, so I needed a top up, but now I just take normal ones you can buy from your nearest boots or superdrug (drugstores). 


So thats how I started my day. Nice, full and ready to take on anything really.

Now I had been looking everywhere for a scarf that was big (almost like a blanket) and kept me nice n toastie. Big scarves are the in thing during the Winter season, as they have multi use and protect you from many types of weather from the blistering cold to the light drizzle on a gloomy day.

The Knee High Boot

I never used to like knee high boots at all. I just never saw the fascination about them UNTIL I saw a pair that I had to have. Knee high boots have become such a trendy boot and a very big MUST HAVE for Winter 14'. Not only do they keep you insulated but they look so stylish and are a perfect chuck on and go item (which is always and essential in any wardrobe).

Alexander Wang X H&M Launch

Hi guys, 

So I was lucky enough to attend the Launch for the AlexanderWangXH&M  collection and I was super excited. 

It was based in the H&M on Regent Street in London,Uk. 

It was crazy! As soon as I got in, I instantly started looking for my size in the items that I wanted. I noticed that as people were taking clothes off the racks, the H&M staff were refilling and they were extremely helpful in terms of helping people get what they wanted etc. 

Drinks and canapés were available and dished out by model looking men (which clearly pleased a lot of women). The womenswear and menswear were located in different areas of the store due to the amount of people. 

As I said : It was Crazy ! 

Even though I got champagne spilt of me due to a woman pushing (yup people were doing the most), I was very happy that I got the only piece that I really wanted ! 

AlexanderWangXH&M Leggings

I LOVE THESE LEGGINGS! Ever since I saw them on Rihanna, I knew I had to have them and they are the best pair of leggings I own. They are very warm, very comfortable and fit like a glove (did I mention that I love them). 

But anyway, as the evening went on, I made my way home.

Would I go to another Launch - OF COURSE! minus the champagne spilling.

New Layout. New Start.

Hi Guys!

How long has it been? About a year? 

Your all probably wondering where I've been and what I've been up to. For the most part I took some time off blogging for studying and also for myself. I couldn't commit my time and energy to blogging regularly and I always say "if your content isn't to your best potential - DO NOT POST". 

But I am back and I am not going anywhere! 

SO... You've probably noticed that the layout has changed and its about time too. I wanted to change the look of my blog as I've grown up a lot (now 21) and I feel that my blog needed to look more sophisticated and my age, y'know. 

So as always I will be posting about beauty and fashion, but I'll also throw in some lifestyle bits and bobs in terms of choices I've made, my eating habits and just things to do with Me. 

So are you ready? Because, I sure am.
