Name, Blog, Job

These past 3 weeks have been so good to me and I'm going to update you all with what I've been up to.

Firstly, I've decided to change my name again and for the last and final time. I felt like having my full name "Leah A Busette" was way too long and people couldn't also pronounce my last name, (even though I'm a major advocate of teaching people how to say your name), I just felt like it was long winded and things needed to be simplified but have a ring to it.

I decided on the name Lilea B.

Li from the beginning of Lily.
Lea from the beginning of Leah.
B from my surname Busette.

Very simple and has a lovely ring to it. This means that all my social medias have changed to Lilea B apart from my snapchat.

Secondly, I've changed the layout of my blog. When I changed my name, it no longer suited my blog layout. So I went on a layout/template hunt and found this simple, chic and sophisticated one from a designer called Kortyna Bass. She has templates for blogger and wordpress, all at reasonable prices. She also helps to install it for you if you have any complications with it.

Love my new layout!

Lastly, the best piece of news I have been dying to share with you all...

I HAVE A NEW JOB!

I AM A STYLIST FOR KAREN MILLEN!

I am the happiest person right now. I have never felt so proud and and content until this very moment in time. Interviews after interview and I've finally gotten my biggest step into my Fashion career.

I will be putting out a YouTube Video on this but I just wanted to say NEVER GIVE UP and ALWAYS GO FOR WHAT YOU KNOW YOU CAN DO.

I believed in myself and knew I had to keep pushing no matter how many knocks backs ( and I had few tough ones). I'm loving every minute of life right now and the fact I can actually say I am a stylist for a designer brand is crazy, out of this world but extremely satisfying.

I hope you all are ready for some new posts and much much more fun stuff on my blog.

I will take this new found happiness and contentment and run with it.

Louis Vuitton Series 3

Another exhibition post. This time it's the Louis Vuitton Series 3 Exhibition which is held at the Strand in London.

It does end today and if you got to go then you would have loved every bit of it.

The exhibition had so many things for your eyes to feast on. From antique LV trunks, hat and makeup case to moving graphics and bags being hand made right in front of you. It was very pleasing to all the senses.

I loved this hallway, looked very futuristic and sci-fi like.

Moving images surrounded us in this room, from models to bags and different location stamps.

This was called The Endless Catwalk (or runway). Models continuously walking and showing off LV garments.

The Ultimate White Room. Walking into it was blinding and your eyes had to adjust to the brightness.

The White Room held some key LV pieces, as I said the antique trunk, which is a major LV staple.

Hand made LV bags made right before us. AMAZING. I really respected the craftsmanship.

All in all the LV Exhibition was an experience and if it didn't finish today, I'd gladly go again.

B. Glycolic Cleansing Peel

When my skin breaks out it's usually to do with my hormones or stress.

Me being me I can never let my spots go away naturally, I'm always unnecessarily squeezing them, which then leads to dark marks/scars being left in concentrated areas. Sometimes I let them disappear on their own but this takes a while and I really do not have the patience.

So my mum introduced me to the Superdrug skincare brand called B. and one product that she (and I now) swear by is the Glycolic Cleansing Peel.

Now some may think,

"you're putting acid on your skin?"

And the answer is yes. Glycolic acid is a natural ingredient extracted from sugar cane, but in some cases it is made synthetically. Gylcolic acid is apart of the AHA's or in other words the Alpha Hydroxy Acids, which also contain acids such as Lactic (milk), Citric (lemons etc.), Malic (apples) and Tartaric (grapes).Glycolic acid is the most common and safest to use out of the acids in that group.

What does the Glycolic Acid Peel do?

Glycolic acid acts as an exfoliant. It helps to remove the dead layer of skin, which then reveals the newer layer and leaves your skin looking brighter, refreshed and glowing. Which is exactly why I love the B. Cleansing Peel.

After using the Peel (2-3 times a week and left on for 2-3 minutes) the dark marks caused by my over spot squeeing had faded and my skin was back to being, looking and feeling, soft, healthy, glowing and evenly toned.

It doesn't "peel" like it says on the tube. It's more of a mask consistency. I highly recommend this product due to the results I got.
